What are Your Kids Doing This Summer?

These kids are learning how to white water kayak in the Yukon River with the Yukon Canoe and Kayak Club and Tatshenshini Expediting.

I am always amazed, not only with the wealth of choice available to us as we step outside, but also at the sheer number of unexpected opportunities that exist to try out something new, brush-up on an old favourite or put well-practiced skills to the test. Whether it be white water kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing or a variety of other activities; not only does it exist but it's often regularly scheduled and accessible.

For the most part, these opportunities transcend all ages. As a result, Yukon kids seem to have the whole wild world at their fingertips! From formally-organized camps and clinics to family-planned outings, we'd love to see what your Yukon kids are up to this summer.

Share with us below and we'll share it on our Facebook, Twitter, or here on our website AND you'll earn 5Y$ for sharing! Y$ is a social currency. If you earn enough Y$, you can use it to *buy* a print subscription to Yukon, North of Ordinary.
